As used in this Privacy Policy, the term “Websites” are Road Lives’s websites, including all services, content, functionality, features, links, and files contained in or provided by any of Road Lives’s websites. The term “Applications” are Road Lives’s mobile applications, including all services, content, functionality, features, links, and files contained in or provided by any of Road Lives’s mobile applications. The Websites and Applications are collectively the “Online Services”). The terms “Road Lives”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Road Lives, LLC. The terms “you” and “your” refer to any “users” of either the Websites or the Applications. All those subject to this Privacy Policy are referred to as a “user” or “users” for purposes of this policy. The term “Shipper” are those users of the Online Services who request or receive transportation services. The terms “Driver” or “Drivers” are those users of the Online Services who provide transportation individually or through their independently owned company. The term “Carriers” are those users who own and operate transportation companies. The term “Brokers” are those users who are licensed to broker the transportation of freight. The term “Dealers” are those users who sell, license or lease vehicles, trailers, parts, equipment and other goods for the transportation industry. The term “Servicers” are users who offer or provide goods or services for or to various persons and entities in the transportation industry.
3. Data Collections and Uses

This Privacy Policy describes how Road Lives and its affiliates collect and use personal information. This policy applies to all users of Road Lives’s Online Services anywhere in the United States. The practices described in this Privacy Policy are subject to applicable laws in the United States. This means that we only engage in the practices described in this policy in the United States.

Road Lives may share the information we collect:

This also includes sharing your information with others in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.

f. Information Retention
Road Lives requires user profile information in order to provide its services and retains such information for as long you maintain your Road Lives account. Further, Road Lives may also retain certain information if necessary, for its legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users' safety and security. For example, if Road Lives shuts down a user's account because of unsafe behavior or security incidents, Road Lives may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a new Road Lives account in the future.
g. Deletion of Account
If you choose to delete your account. All user data including but not limited to content you posted to social media, messages sent and received, business accounts you created and any listings (i.e. Breakdown Directory, Marketplace, Job Board, Digital Ads) will be deleted. You have the option to deleted a Business Account only in which all content entered for the Business Account will be deleted, but your personal account will remain active and not effected allowing you to still use the service as a basic User account.
4. Choice and Transparency
a. Privacy Settings
The Privacy Settings menus on the Websites and in the Applications gives users the ability to set or update their location and contacts sharing preferences, and their preferences for receiving mobile notifications from Road Lives. Information on these settings, how to set or change these settings, and the effect of turning off these settings are described below.
b. Device Permissions
Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined certain types of device data that apps cannot access without your consent. And these platforms have different permission systems for obtaining your consent. The iOS platform will alert you the first time the Road Lives Application wants permission to access certain types of data and will let you consent (or not consent) to that request. Android devices will notify you of the permissions that the Road Lives Application seeks before you first use the app, and your use of the Application constitutes your consent.
c. Explanations, Copies and Correction
You may request that Road Lives:

You can also edit the name, phone number and email address associated with your account through the Settings menu.
d. Marketing Opt-Outs
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from Road Lives. You may also opt out of receiving emails and other messages from Road Lives by following the instructions in those messages. Please note that if you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional messages when deemed necessary by Road Lives.
