Month of the Military Child Recipient Spotlight: Gabriel
Gabriel is a Children's Fund Scholarship Recipient. His interests include music, lacrosse, animals, and cooking.
His family shares, “Gabriel is developing a strong sense of altruism and has been discovering how he can make an impact in the world around him. He continuously talks about his excitement for learning and always comes home with a story to share about something new he learned or did in school that day. He repeatedly tells us how happy he is to attend his school and how he feels like he is seen and accepted as an individual in his school community. This year has been a year of growth and development for him as he discovers more about himself and the impact he is able to have through his words and actions as part of peer groups."
You can help us continue to meet sacrifice with hope for recipients like Gabriel. Join the Folds of Honor Squadron today for only $13 per month at foh.org/squadron

Our prayers are with the families of the EMT and patient who lost their lives last week in an ambulance crash in Kentucky. We must earnestly proceed with our mission so that we can continue to serve families that have sacrificed so much. May we never forget the sacrifices that first responders make each day to help us and our communities.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to our partners at Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund for their generous $1,250,000 grant dedicated to our deserving scholarship recipients.
Featured in the photo are Johnny Mac Scholar Angelina, a junior at a private school in VA, and her mother. Angelina's scholarship pays tribute to her father, Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Nicanor Caboteja, who served our country with pride for 14 years. SSgt Caboteja made the ultimate sacrifice on March 8, 2010, while serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
